Obituary for Elizabeth Louise Wilson

Elizabeth Louise Wilson, 98, of Eldorado, passed away, January 17, 2018 at Ferrell Hospital in Eldorado.

Louise was born in Eldorado to the late Guy and Chloe (Nash) Wallace. Louise was a graduate of Eldorado High School class of 1937; she was a life member of Beta Sigma Phi Sorority. She was a member of Eldorado First Baptist Church where she joined by baptism on April 20, 1930, and began working in the nursery at the age of 18. Louise loved God and her family, and her last words to her family were “I will see you in Heaven”. On January 27, 1944 she married Dr. Quentin C. Wilson, and he preceded her in death on February 3, 2002.

Louise is survived by her children; a son, George Q. (Doris) Wilson of Harrisburg, Nancy Lou (Gene) Morris of Eldorado and Chloe Ann (Tom) Clore of Eldorado. Ten grandchildren: Jason (Jennifer) Wilson, Chris (Krystal) Wilson, Lauren (Wes) Straatmann, Morgan (Nathan) Chester, Dr.'s Kent (Melissa) Morris, Betsy (Dr. Nate) Oldham, Angela (Kenny) Watson, John (Sarah) Clore, Emily Clore and Andrew Clore and twenty-two great grandchildren: Lane Wilson, Logan Wilson, Ryan Wilson, Abigail Wilson, Isabella Dooley, Gabrielle Dooley, Grayson Wilson, Allie Lou Wilson, Mark Straatmann, Katelyn Straatmann, Anniston Chester, Masen Morris, Miles Morris, Hallie Kate Oldham, Nolan Oldham, Liam Oldham, Dathan Oldham, Kaleb Oldham, Jaxon Watson, Harvey Clore, Charlie Clore and Genevieve Caballero. She is also survived by a sister-in-law, Ruth Ellen Wallace of Harrisburg and 8 nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by 2 brothers: Harry Wallace and James Wallace and three sisters: Mary Emily Edwards, Martha Helen Williams and Margaret Nell Wilson.

Funeral services for Louise will be held on Sunday, January 21, 2018 at Eldorado First Baptist Church at 2:00 PM with Rev. Randy Plunkett officiating. Burial will be in Wolf Creek Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 20, 2018 from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM at Watson Funeral Home and also from 1:00 PM until service time of 2:00 PM at the church.

Memorials may be made in her memory to Eldorado First Baptist Church Building Fund and may be left at the funeral home.
